New COVID-19 Vaccine PSA from the American Lung Association

One year ago, COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic. It’s also been a year of missing big moments – from hugging grandma to attending the big game. But the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines is the start of a chain reaction to return to what we love.

As the nation’s trusted champion of lung health, the American Lung Association has been sharing science-based information since the beginning of the pandemic and we continue to do so through this new PSA – Vaccines: Return to What We Love.

To protect the overall population and those most vulnerable, we need a sufficiently high proportion of the population to get vaccinated to stop the pandemic. Yet approximately 40% of the public have not yet made a firm decision to get vaccinated as soon as vaccines are available to them, according to Ad Council research fielded by Ipsos Public Affairs in February 2021.
