We offer a new PSA in hopes of bringing awareness to the continued need for healthy lungs and recovering from Covid-19. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, the American Lung Association expanded our mission to include this latest threat to lung health. Now in year two of the COVID-19 Action Initiative, the Lung Association’s mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease is directly tied to our COVID-19 response.

Our goal is to inform and educate consumers about lung health. As such, the American Lung Association’s primary goal is to prevent COVID-19 and end the pandemic through widespread vaccination, however, people are still contracting the disease, so it is important for the public to know the treatment options.

Monoclonal antibodies work by attaching to the replicating virus within in infected individual which may enable the immune system to better recognize and stop the infection, preventing further illness from occurring.

Help us inform your audience with this additional information. We all deserve happy, healthy lungs; before, during and after this Covid-19 pandemic.
