Junior Achievement: The One Thing

Ask most people “The One Thing” they wish they had learned in school but didn’t, and the answers would all be similar; “How to manage money,” “The role of education in preparing for a future job or career,” and “How to get real-life skills.”

Junior Achievement (JA) is the nation’s leading 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization committed to helping young people connect what they learn in school to life outside the classroom. Our learning experiences are shown to help students better understand how money works, how today’s education ties to tomorrow’s careers, and the importance of entrepreneurship. But JA can’t deliver these learning experiences without the help of community volunteers. That’s why JA is launching a new PSA campaign to engage volunteers – Junior Achievement: The One Thing.

Schools often do an admirable job of preparing young people academically. But how do you apply those skills in daily life? How do you create a budget? How do you make informed decisions about education after high school to support a future career? How do you save for the future? Junior Achievement is seeking volunteers from your community to help present these valuable life lessons to students in your local schools. The One Thing campaign can help us do that!

Please help us share this important message – available as a Television PSA that encourages potential volunteers to visit JA.org, where they can connect with Junior Achievement in their community.

Thank you so much for your support,
