Get On a Path to Good Bone Health – Fight Osteoporosis
Dear PSA Director,
There was a time when people thought osteoporosis was something that happened to everybody when they got old. We now know this is not true. Osteoporosis is a health threat to 54 million Americans. Some people are more likely to get osteoporosis than others. Studies show that half of all women will break a bone due to osteoporosis in their lifetime. Many risk factors can’t be changed, but others can. Understanding the risks will ensure strong and healthy bones for a lifetime.
We offer a quick series of :30 PSAs, two in English, one is Spanish, to remind women that Osteoporosis is something you can live with and combat with awareness, movement, and a bone strengthening diet.
There is no cure for Osteoporosis, but there are proactive things women, and men, can do to prevent broken bones, and support the body, to fight it. There is a lot you can do to protect your bones throughout your life. You’re never too young or too old to improve the health of your bones.
Please help BHOF, the nation’s leading health organization dedicated to preventing osteoporosis and broken bones, to share this vital information with your audience. We are a 501(c)3 organization.
I’m happy to answer any questions you may have or provide any additional information you may need. Please feel free to contact me directly at 703-647-3025 or cgill@bonehealthandosteoporosis.org.
