PSAs to Support Americans Who Are Blind or have Changing Vision
The National Federation of the Blind (NFB), the transformative membership organization of blind Americans, respectfully requests that public service directors and traffic departments across the country consider airing PSAs offering support to people who are blind, or whose vision is changing, so that they can connect with local chapters and resources in their communities. The National Federation of the Blind is a certified 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. We have affiliates in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, with local chapters in most major cities and many smaller localities. Please select one or more of our :30 spots that share our positive philosophy of blindness and emphasize the benefits of making connections with other blind and low-vision people.
Please note: We are excited to present these spots with open audio description to provide an accessible and inclusive experience for all viewers. Audio description (AD) is a service for blind and low-vision TV viewers that uses narration to describe key visual elements. In these spots, the AD will play regardless of whether the viewer has activated the SAP feature of their viewing equipment.
The tagline of the National Federation of the Blind is “Live the Life You Want.” Please help us to transform the dreams of blind people everywhere into reality.
We thank you for your kind consideration.
