Arthritis Foundation PSAs Feature Free App for Those Suffering with Arthritis

Dear PSA Director,

Nearly 60 million Americans battle arthritis, including 300,000 children. For many of them, everyday tasks are difficult or impossible to do. And many must give up favorite hobbies or activities they love. That’s who we’re fighting for this joyous yet hectic time of year and all year long.

For over seven decades, the Arthritis Foundation has fought to improve the lives of the one in four people with arthritis — perhaps including members of your team — through groundbreaking research, advocacy, educational resources and community connections.

Today, we’re offering an innovative, free tool to help people with arthritis manage their chronic pain. Our Vim app features a wealth of pain management advice and resources, which will go a long way in helping your audience get through the end of year holidays. The app helps users set and achieve realistic goals, customized to their pain level and ability. And they can connect with others in similar situations, to share experiences, encouragement and support — and keep the merry in their merrymaking despite the season’s challenges.
