American College of Preventive Medicine Encourages Your Viewers to Be Vaccine Confident for All Vaccines
Many of your viewers lack confidence and trust in vaccines – from COVID-19 vaccine to routine immunizations. In fact, more than 26 million Americans have missed their routine vaccinations, leaving them at risk of long-term health impacts from illnesses like the flu and measles to shingles and HPV. This alarming trend has the potential to turn back the clock on the prevention of infectious diseases we have previously been able to manage or eradicate.
The American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) created a new PSA to help address vaccine hesitancy for all vaccines including COVID-19 immunization by educating on the past successes and the science behind vaccines. Ultimately, communicating that the experts behind public health and prevention are vaccine confident, and you can be, too!
ACPM, and its members of nearly 2,000 preventive medicine physicians, wants everyone to know FDA-approved vaccines are safe, effective and one of the most successful tools to protect health on a personal and global scale.
Please help us to encourage vaccine confidence in the COVID-19 vaccines and all vaccines by airing this PSA
Sincerely,
Donna Grande
