PSA: Many Children Still Lack Protection From COVID Vaccine

As the Omicron variant of COVID-19 spread through the U.S., most of us knew someone with COVID. In January 2022 alone, more than 3.5 million children and adolescents were infected with the virus.

Fortunately, we have a safe and effective vaccine that can prevent the most severe disease. The American Academy of Pediatrics is working to increase the number of children and teens who are protected by the vaccine.
