March for Babies Step Up! PSA

We all know that things are different today with the pandemic altering the way we live; changes and adaptations are new and normal, and fundraising is no different. March of Dimes’ annual in-person March for Babies events for the past 50 years, have seen thousands of people march as a way to fundraise. But now, we must adapt. This new virtual campaign is called Step Up! and takes place nationally on May 15th.

March of Dimes event, Step Up! is to raise vital support for moms and babies during the COVID-19 pandemic causing the ongoing global health crisis. Due to social distancing and stay-in-place orders, March of Dimes is encouraging supporters across the country to Step Up! by taking part in a virtual walk – safely at home or wherever they can – in order to support moms and babies during their greatest time of need.

We offer a selection of PSA for those who would like to join our Virtual Walk in supporting March for Babies. These spots show the 50-year history of these walks and how much they impact lives of moms and babies.

Even in the best of times, moms and babies rely on March of Dimes programs, research, advocacy and health information. March of Dimes is concerned about pregnant women and babies who may be at risk of becoming sick during this pandemic, parents who have recently delivered and those who have a baby in the NICU. March of Dimes is here to support them with critical resources and free services to meet their current and future needs. That is why March for Babies will proceed, but in a new way.

The March of Dimes community bands together to fight for the health of all moms and babies. We need support of stations like yours to deliver these timely messages to those who need it.
